ABOUT US

King’s Lynn Film Festival (KLFF) is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) registered with the Charity Commission (no. 1163058).

KLFF was founded in 2015 by Ian Barton, Sue Burge, Amanda Goldsmith and Paul Andrews. All were members of the King’s Lynn Community Cinema Club which is a membership based non-profit organisation that screens films on a monthly basis at the Guildhall, King Street, King’s Lynn, and which continues to thrive.

The KLFF was born out of a desire to add to the opportunity for the people of King’s Lynn, West Norfolk and beyond to see an ever wider variety of films, and to set aside an occasion each year to celebrate cinema and the impact it has on our lives.

The KLFF’s objective is to:
promote appreciation of, and education in, the arts and crafts and their associated technologies in relation to cinema and other forms of moving images by staging an annual film festival and educational events and activities in association with this.
